Editors have announced details of their first ever greatest hits collection.
Tom Smith and co. will mark fifteen years of music with the career-spanning Black Gold, celebrating all of the group’s biggest hits whilst also looking towards the future with three brand new songs. The collection is due on 25 October via PIAS and follows on from last year’s Violence.
The announcement is accompanied by a brand new track, lead single Black Gold, which comes just a few months after the band launched compelling anthem Frankenstein into the world. Upside Down marks the third new song to appear on the album, the artwork and tracklist of which you can find below the jump.

News of the album is further accompanied by an expansive European headline tour, which will include mammoth dates at Antwerp’s Sportpaleis in February and Den Haag’s leafy Zuiderpark in June.
