Rock Werchter has announced seven brand new names for its 2018 edition this afternoon, all of whom are from Belgium.
The Belgian festival places a big emphasis on local bands each year, with a select few from each edition often going on to sell out large venues across the country. This year, the first batch of Belgian names concerns both established and up-and-coming acts.
They are: Triggerfinger, Arsenal, Angèle, Equal Idiots, Roméo Elvis x Le Motel, Todiefor and blackwave. They join the previously announced likes of Gorillaz, Queens of the Stone Age, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Arctic Monkeys and Pearl Jam, all of whom will top the bill.
Rock Werchter 2018 takes place from 5 to 8 July. Click here for more details.
