Californian sister trio Haim have taken on Tame Impala’s ‘Cause I’m a Man in a brand new remix. The sisters, who have been quite inactive in recent months as they work on new music, took the Aussie psych track (taken from the critically acclaimed Currents) and added their own twist to it. Listen to it after the jump.
All three Haim sisters, as well as producer Ariel Reichstad, were on production duties for this remix, with Danielle Haim replacing Kevin Parker’s vocals with her own. On the track you can therefore hear how she hits the high notes better than even Kevin Parker himself, and how the track has been slowed down a notch to add a grisly RnB groove.

Haim are currently working on their as-yet-untitled second album, which is the follow-up to 2013′s hugely successful Days are Gone. Not much is known about the record, apart from that it’ll see the Californian sisters work with the same production team behind their debut.
