Dour Festival marked its 31st anniversary in a handful of special ways: not only had the Belgian bash changed its location a year prior and subsequently disoriented large swathes of dedicated followers during a massive 2018 edition, but they’d also managed to attract more than 200,000 people over the course of five action-packed days. With some 45,000 people onsite per day, Dour is up there with some of the Benelux’s biggest weekenders both in terms of visitors as well as in terms of the line-up it pulls. The bash managed to attract an appealing swathe of names, including modern day greats (Cypress Hill, Disclosure, Vince Stapjes), hot new prospects (Zwangere Guy, Tommy Cash, GRiZ) and the kind of acts who are made for tearing festivals up in their own special way (Rae Sremmurd, Skepta). All Things Loud’s Marc Prodanovic spent the entire weekend enjoying what Dour had to offer, capturing the festival’s best performances and vibrant atmosphere. Today we bring you our coverage of Dour with an expansive gallery. Join us as we look at the acts who made Dour so special once more, starting with the first three days.
