Mac DeMarco has announced details of a brand new studio album.
The American musician will put out Here Comes the Cowboy on 10 May via his own Mac’s Record Label, marking DeMarco’s very first self-release. News of the album is accompanied by lead single Nobody.
In a press release, DeMarco said: “This one is my cowboy record. Cowboy is a term of endearment to me, I use it often when referring to people in my life. Where I grew up, there are many people that sincerely wear cowboy hats and do cowboy activities. These aren’t the people I’m referring to.”
