King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard are back. Yes, you’ve read that before (multiple times). Today, the Aussie six-piece unveiled not one, not two, but three songs from upcoming album The Silver Cord.
Their 25th studio album has been billed as the yang to June abum PetroDragonic Apocalypse‘s ying, with its seven synth-heavy songs spanning nearly two hours across both the standard and extended versions.

Today, Stu Mackenzie and co. unveiled the album’s first three tracks by means of a DMT trip-worthy music video. Entry level synth popper Theia, bad trip anthem The Silver Cord and all-round beat banger Set mark the start of the band’s new record, with Jason Galea providing the perfect visual accompaniment.
Check out the new songs below, and keep an eye out for pre-order detail over on the band website. The Silver Cord is due 27 October via the band’s own KGLW label.
