It’s been a long wait—there’s no doubt about that. But finally, 5 Seconds of Summer are back. The popular Australian band—made up of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin—announced their return to the stage in the best way they know how: with a new album. The artists have spent some time gaining new experiences and learning what life as a solo artist is like. Each member has launched their own solo project, clearly showcasing the unique energy each brings to the band. But they’ve kept their word. This isn’t the end of 5SOS.
Since 2011, the group has been carving out a niche for itself in the music industry. A career that has grown by leaps and bounds over the years and was celebrated on November 14 with the release of their sixth studio album,
Everyone’s A Star! which isn’t coming alone, as they announced a world tour for next year that will kick off shortly. They’ve already announced the dates for this return to the stage, making it clear they’re coming back in a big way with shows in numerous European cities, as well as upcoming stops in the Americas and Asia.
Energy, freshness, and lots and lots of fun—that’s what the Australians promise, and we’re sure you’ll be able to enjoy it on stage soon.
