Although you could suggest that every move they make probes fans to squrim about a possible comeback, there now seems to be concrete evidence that My Chemical Romance may be hinting at a possible return to music.
One eagle-eyed fan has compiled an extensive list of all the changes which were recently made to the band’s website, including a sentence referring to an “upcoming tour” and a 2016 copyright update.
Alongside this, the fan also pieced together a selection of things which the Gerard Way-fronted band have been posting and liking across social media which further hint at a return. Check out the full list of possible ‘evidence’ below.
There isn’t anything to suggest that My Chemical Romance are genuinely planning on a return, however this is the first instance of some concrete evidence. Since the band broke up three years ago, all four core members have gone their separate ways and have worked or toured with the likes of Lonely the Brave, John Feldmann and Nothing But Thieves.
If the band do return, it will most likely be for a one-off show, or possibly even a brief stint on the Vans Warped Tour, for which the full line-up was announced yesterday. If Linkin Park can pull of a secret set, then My Chemical Romance are certainly fit to do the same.
