UK rock quartet Blitz Kids have put an end to their fantastic career, calling the curtain at London’s Tuffnell Park Dome on Saturday (10 October).

Blitz Kids consists of frontman Joe James, guitarist Jono Yates, drummer Nic Montgomery and bassist Matty Freer. They formed back in 2008, with the following seven years filled with sold out shows, massive albums (see 2014′s The Good Youth) and a dedictated following who travelled all over the world with the band. Saturday’s sold out show at London’s Tuffnell Park Dome was the band’s second farewell show, with the first one taking place in Manchester the night before. The show closed on a euphoric rendition of Never Die, which was sung loudly by every single pair of lungs in the room.

Back in February 2014, Blitz Kids were the first band to be interviewed by All Things Loud. They also carried out our first ever Acoustic Guitar Challenge, taking on Hot Chocolate’s You Sexy Thing. Rest in Peace, Blitz Kids.
