FESTIVAL NEWS: Mike Shinoda & More for Reading Festival

Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda will take to the stage as part of a UK exclusive at this year’s Reading Festival.

The news comes today alongside the announcement of 79 further new names for the UK festival, which will see headline sets by Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco and Kings of Leon. Shinoda has been working on solo music ever since the death of Linkin Park co-frontman Chester Bennington, who took his own life in July 2017. Shinoda’s new EP Post-Traumatic came out earlier this year.

Among the many names joining Shinoda in Reading between August 24-26 are: Otherkin, The Used, SHVPES, Rex Orange County, Maggie Rogers, Blood Youth, DMAs, Sam Fender, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Death From Above, Royal Republic, Husky Loops, Chase Atlantic, COIN, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, Man With a Mission, METZ, Trash Boat, 23 Unofficial, Alma, A2, A-Trak, BØRNS, Wyvern Lingo, Yungblud, Touts, The Xcerts, The Faim, Ten Tonnes, The Joy Formidable, Marsicans, Spector, Spring King, Steel Banglez, Sunflower Bean, Teenage Wrist, West Thebarton, Sleep Token, DJ Semtex, DJ Target, Easy Life, Ebenezer, Ecca Vandal, Fekky, Black Futures, Black Peaks, Bobbi Lewis, Brunswick, Bryn, Demob Happy, Hak Baker, Headie One, Hex, Hippo Campus, Isaac Gracie, Izzie Gibbs, Lady Bird, Last Night in Paris, Mason Maynard, Nines, Normandie, Pretty Vicious, Petrol Girls, Rae Morries, Skindred and Skinny Girl Diet.

Furthermore, the likes of Harry Hill, Lee Nelson and Big Shaq will make appearances on the festival’s Alternative Stage alongside performances by Seann Walsh, Lloyd Griffith and Neil Hilborn.
