Metallica are returning to the Benelux.
The metal titans will top the bill at both Pinkpop Festival and Rock Werchter in the summer of 2022 as part of a wider festival tour in support of as yet unannounced new album.
James Hetfield and co. will first make their Dutch festival return on 17 June, having previously headlined Pinkpop during the infamous storm in 2014. Then, on 1 July they’ll return to Belgium for a main stage set at Rock Werchter.
Metallica are supposedly releasing a new album in 2022, which is set to be the follow-up to 2016’s Hardwired…to Self Destruct. Head here for info on Pinkpop, and here for Rock Werchter.
