Gorillaz to Release Album in 2017

Virtual band Gorillaz (helmed by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett) have been busy working on their brand new studio album, which was originally slated for a 2016 release.

However, band animator Hewlett has now told one fan that the record “can’t be rushed” and will come out in 2017. Check out the explanatory Instagram post below.
