Earlier this summer, Shali Blok and Tim Elsinga spent the best part of a month travelling across Europe by train as part of our Big European Interrail Adventure. Over the course of multiple weeks, the pair undertook tens of thousands of track miles, multiple countries and cultures, and two festivals: Pohoda Festival in Slovakia and Electric Castle in Romania. While travelling, Blok and Elsinga captured their train journey adventures from Amersfoort Schothorst station all the way through to Eastern Europe and back on an analogue camera. Here’s a glimpse at what they returned with, grass fields, beer and all. You might want to turn your head to the side, though, as we’ve kept the analogue result as organic as possible.
