Sometimes all you need in life is one of those days where nothing matters more than staying inside and getting comfortable under a blanket while the rain keeps on pouring. Slowing down, as we all should once in a while. We asked the Prague-based quartet to pick their ultimate under the weather anthems, and here’s what they went for. The band’s third studio album is due in March 2025.
Sebastian (vocals) | Klangstof – Solo
“I love immersing myself in the beautiful melodies and synth sounds of Koen van de Wardt’s band. The entire album The Noise You Make is Silent has a special place in my heart and is a perfect mix of melancholy and heartfelt music. The lyrics of the song Solo are also quite fitting when I feel sad or ‘under the weather’ , and just let me feel all the sadness and melancholy I want or need.“
Kristián (bass) | Radiohead – No Surprises
“I guess it’s no surprise that Radiohead brings a lot of relief to one’s soul when you don’t feel like meeting people. I have a whole playlist of Thom York’es work which heals me every time. I’d say it’s just his tasteful approach to complex rhythms, ever-surprising harmonies and calming vocal expressions.“
Martin Šolc (guitar) | The Dress – Dijon
“Listening to The Dress by Dijon when you’re feeling under the weather is like wrapping yourself in a warm, emotional hug. The song’s raw, soulful delivery and stripped-down instrumentation create an intimate atmosphere, making it easy to connect with its vulnerability and honesty. The way Dijon captures fleeting emotions and imperfect moments feels grounding, offering comfort and understanding when you’re feeling low. It’s not only this song, though – I love the entire album ‘Absolutely’. “
Josef Keil (drums) | The War on Drugs – Strangest Thing
“I first discovered Strangest Thing during a tough time in my life, and it hit me in a way I can’t fully explain. It didn’t exactly pull me out of that dark place, but it gave me this strange, warm feeling – like there’s something beautiful about going through pain and really feeling everything. It’s a song I can only listen to alone because the emotion it gives me feels so personal. Every time I hear it, it gets to me. There’s just something about it that makes you sit with your emotions and see them in a different way.”

“Ever feel like staying inside, or making plans but now you just wanna cuddle up on your couch and listen to the rain hitting your windows? Were you ever just a little bit sick but told everyone you were out of commission? Or felt under pressure to perform, make, work, do? We definitely did. This is a song about slowing down and enjoying those lazy days, because we need them. Especially in this day and age when everything seems so fast. Slow down with us, get a cup of tea and just be Under the Weather.”
