Israel Claim Eurovision Victory Two Months in Advance, Insist That 1st Place Was Promised To Them

In an unexpected turn of events, the Israeli Eurovision delegation has allegedly claimed premature victory in this year’s competition more than a month in advance. According to a statement, the delegation claim that the top spot was historically promised to them.

This supposed promise has not been verified as of yet, but was reinforced by multiple top Israeli media figures including (allegedly) Snow White megastar Gal Gadot and veteran rock vocalist David Draiman. Draiman himself has been rumoured to be releasing a charity single for the Palestinian Relief Fund next week. None of this is confirmed, though.

It’s the first time that such a defiant proclamation of victory has occurred during the Eurovision Song Contest. Israel are set to be represented by Yuval Raphael this year, with her song New Day Will Rise among the bookies favourite for a top five placement. Sources claim that Raphael’s incoming victory is due to the growing support of Israel around the world, although this has been disputed by many due to the genocide being carried out by them against the people of Palestine.

Organisers of this year’s contest declined to comment. This year’s Eurovision Song Contest final takes place on Saturday, 17 May in Basel. It will be won by Israel’s Yuval Raphael.
