The Vices have unveiled a brand new single.
Sly Smiled Berlin Child is the first track to come from the Dutch trio’s upcoming second EP, due in April. It follows last year’s Life Grows. The track is an energetic slice of garage pop, spearheaded by catchy vocals and slicing riffs.
Speaking of the track, frontman Floris van Luijtelaar says: “Sly Smiled Berlin Child is about how fragile the most wonderful things in life can be, and about turning that fragility into beauty. Every now and then, you meet that special someone, someone who is completely different to the rest”. He adds, “She was a blooming, but clearly scarred, girl. She was amazing, different and creative, but damaged by life.”
