It’s 2018, and there still seems to be absolutely nothing stopping Parkway Drive. The Byron Bay hard rockers have gone from strength to strength both on and offstage in the last few years, setting a very high bar for bands across the spectrum when it comes to the art of performing live. A Parkway Drive live show has now elevated itself to becoming a religious experience of sorts, and it’s not hard to see why when you stand a few metres removed from their absolutely insane stage show. At the weekend, Winston McCall and co. treated a packed and rainy Riverstage in Brisbane to this live show, and it was nothing short of grand. Killswitch Engage and Thy Art is Murder joined, and Cat Eye Photography checked it out.
