With new album Ire approaching, Aussies Parkway Drive have put out two new songs from the record – The Sound of Violence and Bottom Feeder. Both tracks are equally clear examples of the band’s gradual musical progression, and you can listen to them after the jump.
The Winston McCall-fronted band first released The Sound of Violence, before following it up with Bottom Feeder the next day. The former incorporates more of McCall’s newfound clean vocals and gang chants, whereas the latter heads down a more classic metal path instrumentally. The quintet, who will tour Europe at the start of next year, are releasing new album Ire on 25 September through Epitaph Records. Listen to both new tracks below.
