The Second Day of Down the Rabbit Hole, Starring: IDLES, David Byrne & Thee Oh Sees

If small bands made a big impact on Down the Rabbit Hole‘s first day, then it’s safe to say that they made an even bigger impact on the second. Yesterday’s hot-as-fuck Saturday once again saw the best performances take place on the festival’s intimate Fuzzy Lop stage, including show-stopping sets from the raucous IDLES and menacing Thee Oh Sees. Talking Heads’ David Byrne proved to be the real highlight, though, presenting a full field with cuts from new album American Utopia and subsequently turning the Hotot stage into a cathartic audiovisual experience for one and all. Jack Parker was once again present and correct, and below you’ll find what he captured throughout the course of the day.
