The Babe Rainbow Cancel European Tour

Aussie psych outfit The Babe Rainbow have cancelled their upcoming European dates.

The Byron Bay three-piece were due to perform a handful of shows commencing next week, including a date at the Patronaat in Haarlem on 25 February.

In an extremely brief statement, the band said: “dear Bird Tribe, due to unforeseen circumstances our upcoming Europe tour has been postponed to the NEAR FUTURE”.

The news follows a week after band member Michael Meddlycott was reported missing, having been relocated a day later following the group’s set at Laneway in Sydney.

More news surrounding the cancellation is currently vague, but head over to the band’s website to find out which dates are affected and how you can score a refund.

The Babe Rainbow are currently signed to Flightless Records, who also handle King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, ORB and Stonefield.
