On Saturday (16 February), the Patronaat in Haarlem well and truly transformed into a sonic walhalla for heavy music from all corners of our planet for this year’s Complexity Festival. The one-day bash never fails to deliver a line-up filled to the brim with cutting edge, experimental and heavy music, with black metal pioneers Zeal & Ardor topping the bill. The likes of Shining, The Ocean, The Algorithm, Lotus Eather and 22 all took to Patronaat’s three stages throughout the day, and we sent Sjors Evers to trek around the venue all day and capture the best of Complexity in 99 images.
