Elbow frontman Guy Garvey has announced his debut solo album, Courting the Squall. The record comes out on 30 October and will be preceded by lead single Angela’s Eyes, which received its own music video this morning.
Alongside the announcement of his first solo album away from Elbow, Garvey has also announced a string of solo dates. On Sunday 29 November, the vocalist will take to Amsterdam’s Paradiso with his live band. Elsewhere, Garvey will perform a handful of UK shows including two gigs at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Accompanying Garvey live will be members of I Am Kloot, The Whip and Elbow’s own brass section.
