FESTIVAL NEWS: Queens of the Stone Age to Headline Mad Cool Festival

American desert rockers Queens of the Stone Age will headline the third edition of Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival next summer.

Josh Homme and co., who put out the acclaimed Villains this summer, will take to the Spanish stage next summer in what looks set to be a busy year for the outfit.

They’re the first name announced for the festival, which this year saw sets by the likes of Foo Fighters and Green Day.

Mad Cool Festival 2018 takes place from 12-14 July in an as-yet-unannounced new location north of Madrid. Between now and 4 December, the festival will announce one new name per day.
