This weekend, Amsterdam’s legendary Paradiso will play host to a wide selection of up-and-coming artists from across the western musical landscape. In recent years, London Calling Festival has been a well-defined starting point for the likes of Jungle, Royal Blood and The Black Keys in eventually launching their careers, and it doesn’t look to be any different this time round. Boasting the likes of Silversun Pickups, Wild Beasts, Explosions in the Sky and Allah-Las atop the bill, London Calling has managed to put together one of its strongest line-ups to date. What about the smaller bands on the bill, though? We sifted through the line-up and picked out five acts who you ought to miss on the basis of simply one recommended track. Listen to them below.
