Last night, Leicester lads Kasabian transformed Amsterdam’s AFAS Live into a ‘ladchester’ musical walhalla. Tom Meighan and co., who are currently touring in support of new record For Crying Out Loud, tend to bring Brits with them wherever they go, and last night was certainly no different. Like a good football team, Meighan and his men tend to attract a massive local following wherever they may be. Beers flew left, right and centre as Leicester’s finest helped Amsterdam erupt like no other night in recent memory. From the bombastic Ill Ray (The King) and stadium-ready Underdog through to the groove-based Wasted and behemoth Fire, and via a barrage of cuts from their self-titled debut, Kasabian’s third outing at the AFAS Live really did have it all. Check out Jack Parker’s shots from the show below, which also feature special guests Slaves.
