King Gizzard & the Lizard have finally taken the step of institutionalising themselves.
The Australian cult septet are currently busy preparing for the release of 2019’s first album, the quaint and environmentally friendly Fishing For Fishies (due 26/4 via Flightless). That hasn’t stopped them from putting out even more new music, though.
Planet B is the band’s first foray into straight-up thrash metal, and it’s accompanied by a wild video which features the prison orange-clad band going apeshit on an abandoned airstrip before a lone gunman hunts them down.
It’s the heaviest King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard song to date, and you can watch its mad video below. It’s currently unknown as to whether Planet B will appear on a studio album later this year.
