At the end of December, legendary Motorhead frontman Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister passed away after a short battle with cancer. Yesterday, the bassist and vocalist was laid to rest in Hollywood as millions of fans across the world tuned in online.
At the accompanying memorial service, a whole host of rock royalty paid tribute to Lemmy. The likes of Dave Grohl and Slash all gave moving speeches, with the former’s emotional eulogy viewable below.
Lemmy lived to the age of 70, having spent a huge part of his life living out a hedonistic lifestyle which will forever be cemented in music history.
