Last night, BBC Sound of 2019 champion and promising rapper Octavian took his impactful and energetic live show to a sold-out Bitterzoet in the heart of Amsterdam. Over the course of an hour, the London rapper treated some 400 fans to cuts from his early EPs and upcoming debut LP, although if one thing is for certain then it’s that this studio album cannot come soon enough. He has the sound and the stage presence to become a very special part of the modern day hip hop scene, something which is evident from his already impressive production value (spearheaded by a LED screen) and expansive entourage. Marc Prodanovic captured proceedings in Amsterdam.
