Mercury Prize 2016 Nominees Announced

The nominees for the 2016 Hyundai Mercury Prize have been announced, with Radiohead and The 1975 amongst the honours list.

Last year, Benjamin Clementine took home the award which celebrates the best albums Great Britain has to offer. This year’s nominees are:

Kano – Made in the Manor
Laura Mvula – The Dreaming Room
Michael Kiwanuka – Love & Hate
Radiohead – A Moon Shaped Pool
Savages – Adore Life
Skepta – Konnichiwa
The 1975 – I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it
The Comet Is Coming – Channel the Spirits
