Muse have begun working on their 8th studio album.
The Teignmouth-trio are currently laying down tracks at London’s AIR Studios, with one lucky fan managing to find out more about the follow-up to 2015s Drones.
Instagram user Florian Muse posted an image of fellow user Antonio Ludovico with all three individual band members, with the accompanying caption claiming that the band have already recorded three new tracks. A separate post also pictures Ludovico with longtime Muse collaborator Tommaso Colliva.
Speaking of the tracks, the band said that was “one is heavy, and the others not so much“. The sonic direction surrounding the album is thus still to be seen.
Muse are also gearing up to tour America with 30 Seconds to Mars and PVRIS this summer, with their AIR Studios sessions also entailing some rehearsals.
