Last week marked history in the world of Dutch rap and hip hop, with Woo Hah Festival finally handing over the baton to Rolling Loud as the global hip hop brand touched down in Rotterdam for its debut edition. On paper it was a brand new festival, but the eagle eyed visitor will have noticed plenty of similarities to its Tilburg-based predecessor (as Hip Hop In Je Smoel brilliantly explains in this review). The debut edition of Rolling Loud touched down in Rotterdam, taking over the Ahoy and its outdoor parking for two jam-packed days featuring the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Aitch, Latto and some 40,000 visitors.
