Rock am Ring is back! Yes, you read that right. After three years in the shadows (thanks to you know what), Europe’s premier hard rock and metal festival finally made a return to coveted Nürburgring gravel. With a new team of people behind the iconic weekender (farewell, Marek Lieberberg and friends) it was exciting to see exactly how the festival would pan out under new ownership. Sure, the line-up was as classic Ring as it got, but what about the rest? Luckily, visitors returning to the Ring this year didn’t have to worry about change or expect any surprises: just like the old days, Rock am Ring’s 2022 rocked. And it rocked hard.
