Rock am Ring has officially returned to the Nürburgring, leaving Mendig’s Flugplatz after two weather-stricken editions.
The announcement comes after the festival was cut off prematurely this summer due to terrible weather conditions that culminated in nearly 100 people being taken to hospital.
In a lengthy Facebook post, the festival confirmed that conditions in Mendig were no longer to a point of agreement, with many new restrictions having been put in place following the previous two editions. Check out the full statement (in German) below.
