It’s Friday, rejoice! To celebreate the fact that most of you have a couple of days to yourselves, we’ve taken three new songs to help you get through the weekend. Read on to see what we chose!

NOTHING BUT THIEVES – IF I GET HIGH (STREAM HERE)
This new taster from Nothing But Thieves’ upcoming debut album (out next Friday, 16 October) is all emotional and downtrodden until frontman Conor Mason’s vocals soar majestically over the early Radiohead-meets-Muse instrumentals. If this isn’t a sign that Nothing But Thieves will take over the world, then we don’t know what is.

THE 1975 – LOVE ME (STREAM HERE)
Last night, The 1975 unveiled their hotly anticipated new single Love Me, taken from upcoming sophomore album I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It. Love Me bears a striking resemblance to 80s guitar pop and has already been compared to David Bowie’s Fame. If this song doesn’t get you up on your feet this weekend, then you’e not doing it right.

EDITORS – ALL THE KINGS (STREAM HERE)
Editors’ new album In Dream is a new reminder that Tom Smith and co. are still the same band, just in a new, fresh guise. The catchy All the Kings is one of the best songs on the records, encompassing an intriguing melody which underpins Tom Smith’s moody vocals. “Loneliness forever, holding back a river” he sings during the chorus, on a track which is already becoming a live favourite. All the Kings is likely to be a future hit for the band, and it’s very much deserved.

Have a good weekend!
