Mayday Parade have released their first piece of new music since signing to Rise Records.
Piece Of Your Heart is taken from the band’s upcoming new studio album Sunnyland, which will serve as the follow-up to 2015’s Black Lines and is due on 15 June. Pre-order your copy here.
The new track is a slow-burning anthem which makes plentiful use of Coldplay-lite chants, lilting guitars and frontman Derek Sanders’ ever recognisable voice. It sets the tone well for a fresh chapter in the story of Mayday Parade, one which will undoubtedly take them to all four corners of the world twice over.
The band have accompanied its release with a gloomy and emotionally gripping video, which you can watch below.
Mayday Parade’s new album is due later this year via Rise Records.
