King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard Share Two Brand New Songs

Australian workaholics King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard only put out their fourth studio album of 2017, Polygondwanaland, last month, but that hasn’t stopped them from bringing out even more new music.

All Is Known and Beginner’s Luck are the first two cuts to be taken from their as-yet-untitled fifth studio album of 2017, which frontman Stu Mackenzie has described as a record comprised of songs which didn’t fit in with the rest of this year’s releases.

The themeless album is expected any day now, with a December release previously having been teased and subsequently confirmed by the band.

It follows on from November’s proggy Polygondwanaland, August’s jazzy Sketches of Brunswick East, June’s doom metal-flecked Murder of the Universe and February’s Flying Microtonal Banana. Listen to the microtone-infused All Is Known and psychedelic jazz slow-burner Beginner’s Luck below.
