In 2 weeks time, Arcade Fire will be releasing a new documentary in conjuction with 2013′s Reflektor album. The Reflektor Tapes will document the extensive promotional campaign and recording process which accompanied and preceded the album, and will show for one day only on 24 September. To precede its release, Arcade Fire are releasing two Reflektor outtakes as a double single.
The 7″ limited edition single (out on 25 September) will feature two tracks which both didn’t make the original Reflektor tracklist – Get Right and Crucified Again. The former track originally premiered during TV adverts for Reflektor before never materializing, whereas the latter was played live at a benefit show some years back. Both songs will now finally receive a release of their own. Check out the artwork below.
