Dutch rockers De Staat have been announced as main support for Muse across Europe for a selection of shows this spring.

In a Facebook post written by frontman Torre Florim, the band shared the following:

When I was 15 years old, and just starting writing songs, Muse was one of the bands that I had on repeat at home. This is a band I looked up to and shamelessly stole cool ideas from for my first little band.
And that they now are asking us personally to go on tour with them to all these cities and countries, sounds totally odd, is an amazing opportunity and a ridiculous big honour. A very cool moment for us.

The tour with Muse does mean that we have had to cancel these 2 festivals shows:
It’s Bevrijdingsfestival Brabant May 5th (NL) and Clamotte Rock Festival May 7th (BE).
Yes that sucks. We hope to be back there soon.
So see you soon.
Thanks, love,
Torre, Jop, Tim Rocco and Vedran

The below picture shared by the band details all the dates they will be supporting Muse on. De Staat’s latest album, O, was released in January.
