Foals Announce New Album, Tour Dates and Release New Music

Foals are back.

The Yannis Philippakis-fronted outfit returned this evening to confirm news of not one, but two studio albums slated for this year. They’ve also unveiled new single Exits, as well as a string of worldwide tour dates in its support.

Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1 is due on 8 March via Warner Music, and it marks the start of what looks set to be a dark, heavy and emotionally charged campaign for the band. The campaign will be accompanied by a follow-up album later this year.

Taking to social media, the band described the new music’s lyrical direction as resonating “with what’s going on in the world at the moment. These songs are white flags, or mirrors, or attempts to work through the confusing times we live in… each in a different way.

News of the album is accompanied by a string of new tour dates, including nights at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Ancienne Belgique in Brussels and London’s Alexandra Palace. Find all of the dates here.
