Last weekend, Pierce the Veil and Sum 41 took their co-headline We Will Detonate Tour to Indianapolis’ Old National Centre. The show, which is headed up by both alternative heavyweights, is just the latest in a string of chaotic sets which both bands are pulling off around the world in support of their respective new albums Misadventures and 13 Voices. As the tour nears an end (Pierce the Veil head to Europe in two weeks), chances to catch Vic Fuentes and Deryck Whibley’s bands onstage together become smaller and smaller, so we sent Christian Sarkine to see what went down.
