How many festivals is actually too much? Pinkpop boss Jan Smeets recently declared that there were 700 festivals per year in Holland, which is an average of two per day. It’s a ridiculous number, but it does pose the question: which festivals are actually any good? This summer, we’re travelling around mainland Europe to bring you coverage of massive festivals far and wide, with our latest festival instalment concering the smaller-scale alternative two-dayer Jera on Air. We sent Dewi to embrace the mud in Ysselsteyn, and you can check out the first part of her footage below.
