With little more than 24 hours to go until As It Is‘ largest headline show to date was due to take place at the KOKO in London, disaster struck. Frontman Patty Walters found himself hospitalised with a blood clot to the shoulder, forcing the cancellation of a show in Cardiff and throwing an enormous spanner in the works regarding the most important show the band would ever play. Luckily for all involved, the show managed to go ahead, albeit with Walters wearing a sling and reining in his boundless energy. Federica Burelli went to the prestigious KOKO to capture what went down.
