Inside the Mental World of The Rumjacks’ Live Show

There aren’t many bands who can show up to a major festival, perform on a small stage dedicated primarily to ‘world music’ and subsequently tear it a brand new arsehole. Sydney’s The Rumjacks have been hammering away at their frenetic brand of folk-punk for quite some time now, having built up a solid reputation as one of the genre’s most formidable live acts. We followed them as they took to the Lima stage at Holland’s Lowlands Festival and witnessed them bring brilliant new record Sleepin’ Rough to life in front of 2,000 manic festivalgoers.
