Kita Menari has unveiled a brand new single.
The Dutch indie project – helmed by Micha de Jonge – shared Into the Dark last Friday as the first taster of upcoming EP Dreaming All the Time, due on 20 November.
Speaking of the artwork in a Facebook post, de Jonge said: “The artwork symbolises that dream world: the moment just before you fall asleep when you see colours shooting around in the darkness. This picture was actually taken in the canals of the Red Light District in Amsterdam with the colourful neon lights reflecting on the water. The swan symbolises the departure from the real world: a white, graceful, elegant animal floating in black water surrounded by the loud, debouched, bacchanalian environment. I also found out the swan is a symbol for dreams and dreaming which fitted in perfectly!”
