Last night, New Zealand singer-songwriter Marlon Williams battled sickness to perform a four-song acoustic set in the hotel bar of Amsterdam’s Backstage Hotel. Performing a cover of Ewan McColl’s First Time Ever I Saw Your Face alongside three solo tracks (including the stunning When I Was Younger), Williams proved his status as one of the most exciting singer-songwriters of the year.
