The Strokes yesterday teased fans in London by projecting never-seen-before visuals onto walls around the city.

The visuals, which depict the phrases ‘past’, ‘present’ and ‘future’ alongside their logo and the emblem for Cult Records, were shared by fans around London. Check out a tweet from Brick Lane below and see the whole thing for yourself.

Whether or not the band will release new music remains to be seen, however it would come in handy considering that they’ll be headlining the Governors Ball Festival in New York on 3 June. The booking was made under the premise of new Strokes music, too.

Bassist Nikolai Fraiture further teased the possibility of new music in an Instagram post, which you can check out below.

Go to @thestrokes for tix.. Any song requests? We got some good ones on Twitter so far ! ! (.. and maybe some surprises.. maybe..)
