Yesterday, upwards of 200,000 enthusiastic revellers descended upon the Hungarian capital of Budapest for what looks set to be Sziget Festival‘s most exciting, bustling and celebratory edition to date. The seven day-long spectacle will mark its 25th edition with a whole host of huge names, ranging from the anthemic (Kasabian, Biffy Clyro and Nothing But Thieves) to the celebratory (P!nk, Dubioza Kolektiv and Major Lazer). We’ve sent Nicolas Avellaneda over to Budapest, and on Sziget’s opening day he returned with coverage of Canadian punk outfit Billy Talent and the aforementioned party-starters Dubioza Kolektiv.
