There is absolutely no stopping Architects, something which has become more and more evident over the course of the last two years. In the wake of Tom Searle’s passing, Sam Carter and co. undertook one of the toughest tasks a human being can go through: grief. New album Holy Hell is the result of this grieving process, its eleven songs comprised largely of some of Searle’s best unused work. It’s an album which topped year-end lists the world over, further emphasising its memorability on an overtly emotional scale. Last night, the Brighton quintet took their biggest European tour to date to Antwerp’s Lotto Arena together with special guests Beartooth. Arne Cardinals checked it out.
