ROCK ON THE RANGE, Day Two: Troublesome Weather Disrupts Music, Fans Keep on Rocking

There’s something quite peculiar about music festivals and their ability to attract some of the worst weather known to man. Just take the likes of Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds as a pair of prime examples, as well as two of Rock am Ring’s last three editions. Not to mention an unforgettable and lightning-laden Pinkpop in 2014. They all share a penchant for thunder and lightning, just like Rock on the Range unfortunately did yesterday. The second day of the Columbus, OH bash saw a three-hour period of disruption due to stormy conditions, which resulted in cancellations for Bullet For My Valentine and Stick To Your Guns, as well as a shortened headline set from Avenged Sevenfold (above). Christian Sarkine braved the weather to catch some of day two’s best sets.
